TEACHING MINISTRIES
Our Varied
We are a Bible believing church that agrees with 2 Timothy 3:16-17 where it says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
We also believe that our church's teaching ministries should reflect how the Holy Spirit is leading us in our current context through Christ's vision, our mission, and our cultural values.
SUNDAY SERMONS
We are currently working our way through a sermon series on Genesis. Each sermon has a preaching question that we want you to think and pray about during the week. And if you have questions or want to share something personal from the sermon, stick around for our discussion during our Response Time following the service.
Join us during our 11am Sunday service or use our YouTube channel to catch up.
CHILDREN'S CURRICULUM
Our children from Kindergarten through 5th grade spend several years interacting with highlights of the entire Bible ultimately pointing to Christ in The Biggest Story.
Because we believe in the importance of our kids participating with the congregation and learning what that means as they mature into adulthood, ages K-5th grade start in the service and then go to their class for the sermon.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Our Wednesday nights are spent doing a number of different things. A couple times a year they are to go serve at a place like One Bistro. We currently use 1 Wednesday night a month to have a business meeting.
All the other nights nights we spend in prayer and doing varied types of Bible study. Unless there's a special event, it starts at 6pm and goes until about 7 or 7:30pm.
PREACHING / TEACHING TEAM
New Beginnings believes in the importance of having a diversity of wisdom in the pulpit and across NBBC's teaching ministries.
While this team has not been established yet, it is something that Pastor Nick is passionate about and praying for. Email Pastor Nick if you believe that God has entrusted you with gift of teaching and you're interested in learning more!
TRAIN TO SERVE INTERNSHIPS
One of Pastor Nick's biggest passions is to train up the next generation of ministry leaders. He created the Train To Serve Internship Program so that young men and women could get practical ministry experience that would prepare them for their future ministry calling!
